Det 085 is a great place to be! This website will give you a picture of what it would be like to be a cadet here. We have a legacy of producing outstanding leaders for the Air Force, sending cadets awesome places for summer trips, offering one-of-a-kind training experiences, exposing you to all kinds of Air Force career fields, and giving you a chance to show your leadership capabilities in our exceptional cadet corps. We have a lot of opportunities for you while you are in AFROTC, but most importantly, we will give you a great start and all the preparation you need for your future career in the Air Force.

AFROTC Information Sessions

Detachment 085 hosts monthly Information Sessions where you can get more information about the program, meet some current cadets, and get many of your questions answered. All Information sessions are held in the Dean's Room, Hearst Gym, UC Berkeley campus.
